CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL COLLECTOR™ TRAINING
& CERTIFIED BAT TRAINING
Deborah Holub, RPCT is Regional Certified Professional Collector Trainer™ (R-CPCT) for the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA). She conducts workshops in the Northern California Region as well as in Oregon and Nevada. She is authorized by DATIA to conduct the Certified Professional Collector (CPC) training course to specimen collectors.
Deborah Holub is also a Certified Intoximeter Instructor for the RBTIV & ASIV instruments. Certified courses meet and exceed the DOT’s requirements for Breath Alcohol Technician training.
The CPC course includes:
- A review of DoT regulation 49CFR Part 40
- Performing specimen collections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Performing specimen collections for non-mandated companies
- Five Mock Collections
- Certificate of Completion
This course satisfies the DOT qualification training and proficiency demonstration requirements. During the course, each attendee will be provided with an official DATIA Certified Professional Collector™ Training and Study manual.
Following the course, attendees are eligible to take the Collector Certification Exam and are awarded DATIA Certified Professional Collector™ (CPC) status upon successful completion of the exam.

DoT BAT, EBT & Calibration Technician course includes:
- BAT & Calibration Technician Training on the Intoximeter ASIV & RBTIV.
- Intoximeter’s BAT and EBT proficiency courses meet and exceed the DOT’s requirements for Breath Alcohol Technician training.
- Upon successful completion of this course, the student(s) will receive a Certificate of Training and a Factory Calibration Technician Certificate.
A DOT-approved CD-ROM covering all pertinent regulations is required in advance with the hands on training.

Certified Professional Collector Training -
Alturas, California (9am-5pm)
- Description: Certified Professional Collector Training presented by Deborah Holub who is a Regional Professional Collector Trainer for DATIA. This workshop will provide collection personnel with the training to become proficient in urine and alternative (hair, oral fluids, sweat, on-site) specimen collection for drug testing in the workplace. The workshop will emphasize the importance of performing the collection in a professional and consistent manner, maintaining confidentiality for the donor and security, integrity, and control of the specimen. All participants will complete the five mock collections as required by DoT. After successfully completing the workshop, the five mock collections and the DATIA CPC exam the participant will be eligible to be certified as a DATIA Certified Professional Collector.
